Pumpkin Run 10K, 5K & 1 Mile : Lynn Creek Park
The Pumpkin Run takes place on October 10, 2026 at Lynn Creek Park by Joe Pool Lake in Grand Prairie, Texas. The event includes on-site and virtual options and donates proceeds to several local charities.

Event amenities listed by the organizer include a free pancake breakfast, a warm-up activity, face painting, pumpkin decorating, and vendors. Park entry is free. Early packet pickup is scheduled for Thursday, October 8 and Friday, October 9 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Epic Nutrition, 3154 S SH 161 Frontage Road Suite 630, Grand Prairie. Race day packet pickup is at the registration table under the large white tent.
Volunteering roles include packet pickup, aid station duties (providing water and course cleanup), and course monitors to guide participants and redirect traffic. Awards are given to male and female overall winners and top three male and female finishers in the 5K and 10K. Age-group divisions are under 19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and over 60.
The organizer states a strict no-refund policy; in extreme or unsafe weather the schedule, course, or status of the event may be changed or cancelled at the Race Director's discretion. If a registrant cannot attend or the event is canceled, the packet, shirt, and medal can still be received and the race completed independently.
