Event Overview
The Rock Dallas Trail Run takes place at Murrell Park in Flower Mound, Texas. The event utilizes the east side of the North Shore Trail, situated along the wooded northern shore of Grapevine Lake. The course is known for its smooth, flowing paths and natural scenery.
Participants can choose from three different distances:
- 5 km: Features slightly rugged terrain and one aid station.
- 15 km: Features slightly rugged terrain and includes five aid stations.
- 13.1 miles: Features moderately rugged terrain and includes six aid stations.
The event follows an eco-friendly approach to reduce litter and waste. Aid stations are positioned every 1.5 to 3 miles along the course, but they do not supply cups. Participants are responsible for bringing their own drinking vessels or hydration packs to carry water.
