Rock Dallas Trail Run
The Rock Dallas Trail Run takes place on September 19 at Murrell Park in Flower Mound, Texas, on the east side of the Northshore Trail. The east side of this trail is described as smooth and flowing, with wooded shoreline views along the northern shore of Grapevine Lake.
The event offers multiple distances:
- 5K - slightly rugged terrain, one aid station midway.
- 15K - slightly rugged terrain, passes four aid stations.
- 13.1 mile - moderately rugged terrain, passes five aid stations.
Aid stations are placed approximately every 1.5 to 3 miles. To reduce trail waste, cups are not supplied at aid stations; participants are responsible for providing their own drinking vessel and hydration packs are recommended. Courses are marked with color-coded arrows for each distance.
Early packet pick-up is available at Trailhead Running Supply, 2600 Lakeside Pkwy Suite 140, Flower Mound, TX 75022. Registration pricing varies by period; early-bird, regular, and late rates are listed for each distance. Racers aged 21 and under receive a $10 entry discount. Veterans and first responders are eligible for a 15% discount voucher by contacting the organizer.
