Event overview
The Aid via Action 5K is scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Bachman Lake Park, 3500 W Northwest Hwy, Dallas, TX 75220. The event raises funds for Aid Via Action, a 501(c)(3) organization that delivers surgical care to communities in Northern Guatemala and aims to reduce disparities in global health access. This edition is presented as the fourth annual Aid Via Action 5K and includes live entertainment on race morning.

The in-person 5K is chip timed using disposable timing chips attached to bibs. The minimum age to participate is 6 years. Per event safety rules, pets are not allowed on the course; strollers are permitted; scooters, roller or inline skates, and bicycles are not allowed in the sanctioned event. Use of personal music devices is strongly discouraged for participant safety. A course map and a race day parking map are provided by the organizers. Awards will be given to overall winners, masters and grand masters, and age-group awards in 10-year increments from 15 and under through 80+. Race entry fees are non-refundable; the organizer may modify, postpone, or cancel the event for safety or other production concerns.
