Aid via Action 5K
Aid via Action 5K is an annual fundraising event held in Dallas to support a 501(c)(3) organization that delivers surgical care in Northern Guatemala. The event takes place at Bachman Lake Park, 3500 W Northwest Hwy, Dallas, TX 75220, and offers both an in person 5K and a virtual 5K option.

The event is chip timed and participants receive disposable timing chips with their race bibs. Packet pickup is available at the local Playtri store and at the race site. Virtual participants can complete the distance at any location and use common fitness apps to document their result; t-shirts and finisher medals for virtual entries are mailed after the actual race.
Course and safety notes include a prohibition on pets on the course, allowance for strollers, and a ban on scooters, roller or inline skates, and bicycles during the sanctioned event. The use of personal music devices is discouraged for safety. Organizers reserve the right to modify the course or event details for safety or production reasons. The minimum age to participate in the 5K is 6 years.
Awards are given for overall winners, masters and grand masters, and age groups in ten year increments from 15 and under through 80 plus. Entry fees are nonrefundable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
