The Puffing Billy Running Festival is a running event held over two days at Emerald Lake Park in the Dandenong Ranges, Victoria. It is organized to raise funds for heritage restoration projects at the Puffing Billy Railway.

- 1.2km Junior Dash on a Saturday, starting at 10:00 AM.
- 5km Family Fun Run on a Saturday, starting at 11:00 AM.
- 13.5km Classic on a Sunday, starting at 8:45 AM. This race is positioned as a challenge against the Puffing Billy train, running from Belgrave to Emerald Lake Park.
Event Features
Event features include electronic timing, a finisher medal and certificate, a bag drop service, and drink stations on course. First aid is available, and sections of the course have road closures. Family entertainment is provided at the finish line, and on-course photography is available for purchase. Participants in the 13.5km race can take an optional return train journey back to the start line (available for purchase) or use a free return bus shuttle.
