Pleasanton Rotary Halloween Spirit Run : October 26, 2025
The Pleasanton Rotary Halloween Spirit Run takes place in Downtown Pleasanton, starting and finishing on Main Street at 652 Main Street, Pleasanton, CA 94566. The event includes the following distances:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 10K Run/Walk
- 1/4 mile Kids Challenge
- 100 yard Kids Challenge
Event details and logistics
Registration opens July 23, with a discounted entry period from July 23 to August 1. 5K and 10K participants receive a short-sleeve DryBlend t-shirt with an option to upgrade to a long-sleeve technical shirt for $7.00. Kids Challenge entry includes a short-sleeve DryBlend t-shirt; participants may opt out of a shirt. To mark the 32nd running, finisher medals will be awarded to all 5K, 10K, and Kids Race participants. Custom medals will also be presented to the top three male and female finishers in each 5K and 10K age group, and overall winners receive a prize. Age groups are listed separately for 5K and 10K.
Pre-race packet pick up is scheduled for October 25 at Fleet Feet Pleasanton (234 Main Street); bib and shirt pick up is also available on race day near the start/finish area. In-person registration is available at packet pick up or on race morning; accepted payment methods are debit/credit card or cash (personal checks not accepted). Well-behaved, leashed dogs and strollers are permitted in the 5K and 10K but must start toward the back. Proceeds support Pleasanton student scholarships and Rotary Club community and international projects. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
