Pleasanton Rotary Halloween Spirit Run - Pleasanton, CA

The Pleasanton Rotary Halloween Spirit Run takes place on October 25, 2026, with start and finish in downtown Pleasanton on Main Street at 652 Main Street. The event includes timed road races for adults and fun runs for children; participants may choose to wear costumes.

Distances and youth divisions include:

• 5K / 3.1 miles
• 10K / 6.2 miles
• Kids Challenge: 1/4 mile for children age 12 and under
• Kids Challenge: 100 yard dash for children age 5 and younger

5K and 10K results are timed and awards are presented to overall winners and to top finishers in each age group. Custom medals are presented to the top three male and female finishers in each age group for the 5K and 10K, and overall winners receive a prize. To celebrate the 33rd running, finisher medals will be awarded to all 5K, 10K, and kids race participants.

Shirts for 5K and 10K participants are DryBlend long sleeve t-shirts; participants may opt out of receiving a shirt. Proceeds support scholarships for Pleasanton students and community and international projects of the Rotary Club of Pleasanton.

Well-behaved dogs and strollers are permitted in the 5K and 10K with requirements that they start toward the back and that dogs be on a non-retractable leash and cleaned up after. Pre-race packet pick up is held on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at Fleet Feet Pleasanton (234 Main Street). Participants may also pick up bibs and shirts on the event day near the start/finish. Photo ID is not required to pick up packets and someone may pick up for another participant with the confirmation QR code. In-person registration is available at packet pick up or on the event day near the start/finish adjacent to Workbench Hardware at 652 Main Street; payment by debit or credit card or cash is accepted, personal checks are not accepted.
