Plaid Nation 5K, April 11, 2026 : Hilton Head Island
The Plaid Nation 5K on April 11, 2026 in Hilton Head Island benefits the Heritage Classic Foundation and is produced by Palmetto Running Company. The event begins and finishes at Lowcountry Celebration Park and follows a scenic course through the South Forest Beach neighborhood, using hidden paths before returning to the park for an after party and festival. The course is partially closed and officers will staff high traffic intersections; participants must follow pedestrian traffic laws.
Registration is online only and closes on April 9. Packet pickup and a race expo are organized by Brooks Running at Palmetto Running Company in Shelter Cove Towne Centre, with additional packet pickup available at the race site. Participants may pick up for others and may purchase additional race shirts at packet pickup if available.
Registration includes a Plaid Nation 5K tech T shirt, a finishers medal for all participants, a free beer for those 21 and over, and two entries to a Tuesday RBC Heritage practice round; those tickets are available at packet pickup. Overall male and female winners receive a Plaid Nation trophy and two tournament tickets, with prizes for second and third overall and age group medals for the top three in each division. Proceeds will be donated to the Heritage Classic Foundation. Palmetto Running Company will provide waste recycling at the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
