Event
The Cats Me If You Can 5k Run/Walk takes place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, in Hilton Head Island, SC. The event includes an in-person 5K Run/Walk and a Virtual 5K (includes shipping). In-person registration is listed at $35. The virtual option is listed at $50; a $15 shipping and handling fee for mailed items is also noted. Registration opens January 1, 2026.
Course and logistics
The course starts at Mitchelville Freedom Park, goes out to Fish Haul Beach, follows back roads on the island’s north end, and finishes near the All About Cats Sanctuary. Packet pick up (t-shirt and race bib) is set for April 24 at Palmetto Running Company in Shelter Cove Town Centre. Late packet pick up is available on race day at the event. Parking is available on site. Virtual participants will receive race items by mail within 7-10 days after the event.
Awards and beneficiaries
Finishers receive a t-shirt with the event logo and a lanyard with a finisher premium. Awards are given to the top male and female finishers overall and in each age group. Proceeds and donations benefit All About Cats - Hilton Head Island, a volunteer-based 501(c)(3) organization.
