Event overview
The Flying Frog 5K/10K and 1st Annual Frog Fest takes place on April 18, 2026 at Beaufort Executive Airport on Lady's Island, SC. The event features a USATF-certified, flat runway course and combines timed road races with a post-race community festival that includes live music and family activities. Distances offered include:
- 5K
- 10K
- 5K (student, ages 12-17)
- Kids 5K (under 12)
Walkers and strollers are allowed. T-shirts are included with advance registration and may be available on race day while supplies last.
Registration and logistics
Registration is non-refundable. The registration pricing schedule is: Early Bird (opens July 9, 2025) $30; Regular (January 1 – March 31, 2026) $35; Last Chance Online (April 1 – April 15, 2026) $40. Registration for the kids event opens January 1, 2026. T-shirt sizes are only guaranteed for registrations completed before March 15, 2026.
Packet pickup is scheduled on April 16, 2026 at Palmetto Running Co. in Bluffton and April 17, 2026 at Beaufort Executive Airport. Race day packet pickup is also offered. Age divisions run from Under 12 through 70+.
Charity and awards
Proceeds support Operation Patriots FOB. Finisher medals are given to every participant who completes the race. Special awards go to the top three male and female finishers in each age division. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
