Overview
The Flying Frog 5K is part of a larger event taking place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Beaufort Executive Airport on Ladys Island, South Carolina. The event celebrates South Carolina Aviation Week and supports Operation Patriots FOB, an organization serving veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and their families.
Race Details
The event offers several running distances:
- The Flying Frog 5K (Standard price: $35)
- The Flying Frog 5K Student for ages 12-17 ($30)
- Kids 5K for participants under 12 ($25)
- The Flying Frog 10K ($45)
All race courses are on a fast, flat USATF-certified runway at the airport. Every finisher receives a medal, and awards are given to the top three male and female participants in each age category.
Associated Festival
Following the races, the 1st Annual Frog Fest begins. This is a celebration with live music featuring multiple acts. Admission to Frog Fest is free for all race participants. For non-participants aged 13 and over, entry requires a $10 donation, with all proceeds benefiting Operation Patriots FOB. Children aged 12 and under enter free.
Registration & Logistics
Advance registration includes a race T-shirt. Packet pickup is available on Thursday and Friday before the event, as well as on race day from 7:00 AM until 7:30 AM. Walkers and participants with strollers are welcome. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
