PHOENIX Fridays - Run for a Tenner Friday - June

This event is part of the PHOENIX Fridays series of timed runs with flexible rock up and run start times. Runners choose how many laps to complete on a measured out and back course beside the River Thames.

Distances available include:

  • 5 km
  • 10 km
  • Half marathon
  • Marathon
  • Ultra

The course is a 5.3 km (3.28 mile) lap on an off road riverside towpath. The minimum distance is one lap of 3.28 miles and the overall time limit for the event is seven hours. The route is described as having no elevation gain or loss.

Entry fees are shown as £10 (Affiliated) and £12 (UnAffiliated). For the Run for a Tenner charity runs the ten pound entry is allocated to the Rays of Sunshine Children’s Charity. Charity runs feature a double sided Rays of Sunshine medal. All participants, attended or virtual, receive a finishers’ medal.

Distance restrictions apply to participants aged 20 or under in line with UK Athletics rules. Event location is Xcel SPORTS HUB Stadium, Waterside Drive, Walton on Thames, Surrey, KT12 2JG. Places are strictly limited. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
