PGRC Women's Distance Festival 5K
The PGRC Women's Distance Festival is a 5K race held around Lake Artemesia in College Park, Maryland, organized by the Prince George's Running Club. The event is part of the Maryland Women's Distance Festival 5k Series and marks the 46th year of the series supported by the Road Runners Club of America, a program that has highlighted women's access to running since 1979.
Registration opens March 23, 2026 and closes April 17, 2026. The registration fee is $30.00. A race premium is guaranteed to the first 100 registrants. Race day registration is available.
Awards will be presented to the top three finishers and to top finishers in five year age groups, with recognition for both male and female competitors. Walkers are welcomed.
Parking is available in the lot at Herbert Wells Ice Rink, 5211 Campus Drive, College Park, MD 20740. A men's 5K race is scheduled to follow the women's event as part of the same meeting. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
