Peterhead 3K and Junior Mile Series at the Lido, Peterhead
Peterhead Athletics Club stages a summer series at the Lido in Peterhead. The series is SA Licenced and takes place on one Saturday each month from April to September: April 25, May 30, June 20, July 25, August 29 and September 26.
The event offers the following race distances

- Junior Mile
Junior races are organised into age groups including Under 16s and Under 12s. Entry is by pre entry only and no entries are accepted on the day. Entry fees apply per race with an additional administration charge: 3K is priced at £2 per race plus 50p admin, and the Junior Mile is £1 per race plus 50p admin. Each entrant keeps the same race number for the whole series. Numbers are collected on the day at the small car parking area along the road from the Peterhead Marina Bay caravan site office building.
Series placings are calculated from the three fastest accumulated race times. Prizes are awarded in various categories for the overall series. The closing date for the August event entries is 26 Aug 2026 23:59. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
