Peterhead 3K & Junior Mile Series (2026)
Peterhead Athletics Club stages a series of timed races at the Lido in Peterhead across six Saturdays between April and September 2026. The series dates are April 25, May 30, June 20, July 25, August 29 and September 26. The event is SA licensed.
Races are organised as part of a season series. Entrants must pre-register; no entries are accepted on the day. Each entrant keeps the same race number for the whole series. Race numbers are collected on the day from the small car parking area along the road from the Peterhead Marina Bay caravan site office building.
Entry fees are charged per race: the 3K costs £2 per race plus a 50p administration fee, and the Junior Mile costs £1 per race plus a 50p administration fee. Series placings use each entrant's fastest accumulated times from three races. Prizes are awarded in various categories for overall series results.
The series includes separate junior categories and lists specific Junior Mile entries for Under 16 and Under 12 age groups. The organiser notes that runners of all abilities are welcome. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
