Event

The Newburgh Beach Bash is a multi-terrain 10k run organised by Newburgh Dunes Running Club. The race is scheduled for 21 March 2026. The course starts near the Gallows Hill Community Pavilion and includes sections through the Forvie National Nature Reserve. The route uses a mix of pavement, trail, sand dunes and beach.

Entries and prizes

Entries open on 29 October 2025. The event has a total of 320 places and the entry status is listed as waiting list. Entry is by online sign-up only. The standard race fee is £20.00 with a discounted fee of £18.00 for Scottish Athletics members; JogScotland membership does not qualify for this discount. Runners must be at least 15 years old on the day of the race. All finishers receive a medal and a finisher's pack. Prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in Male and Female categories plus age-group prizes for 40+, 50+, 60+ and U18, each for 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
