Newburgh Beach Bash 10K
The Newburgh Beach Bash 10K is a multi-terrain event organized by the Newburgh Dunes Running Club. The race takes place on Saturday, 21 March 2026, and is set against the backdrop of the Forvie National Nature Reserve. The course begins near the Gallows Hill Community Pavilion and traverses a varied landscape including pavement, trails, sand dunes, and the beach.
Participants must be at least 15 years old on the day of the race to take part. The event has a total capacity of 320 places. Entries are handled exclusively online, and there is a waiting list system in place once the event reaches its initial capacity. Discounted entry fees are available for members of Scottish Athletics, England Athletics, or Welsh Athletics.

The route consists of multiple surfaces, requiring participants to navigate shifting sands as well as firmer trails and paved sections. All finishers receive a medal and a finisher's pack upon completion. Prizes are awarded across several categories, including the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as age-group awards for those in the Under 18, 40+, 50+, and 60+ classifications.
