Paws For A Cause 5K - Shreveport
Paws For A Cause 5K is a fundraising road event to support S.P.O.T. INTL Successfully Preparing Our Teens and provide funding for youth enrolled in its programs. The event takes place on September 19, 2026 at the Stoner Boat Launch, 857 East Stoner Avenue, Shreveport, LA 71104. The course starts and finishes near the dog park at the Stoner Boat Launch.
Three registration packages are offered with early bird pricing through August 15 and higher fees from August 16 through race day: General Admission 5k includes race entry and an official event T shirt, eligibility for overall and age division awards, and access to race day activities. Paw Package 5k includes race entry, an official event T shirt, a doggie treat bag, eligibility for awards, and access to race day activities. Tail Wagger Package includes race entry, an official event T shirt, an exclusive event swag bag, a dog focused swag item, a doggie treat bag, and eligibility for awards.
Participants may run or walk with a dog or participate without one. Awards include 1st overall male and female and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd male and female in these age groups: 5-13, 14-18, 19-25, 26-35, 36-45, 46-54, and 55 plus. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
