Talk Pirate to Me 5K/10K/Half - Shreveport
The Talk Pirate to Me 5K/10K/Half in Shreveport takes place on September 12 at Walker Place Park and is themed for International Talk Like a Pirate Day. The event offers three race distances and a virtual option so participants can run or walk offsite and submit results online.

All races are chip timed. Water stations are provided approximately every 1.5 miles. The Half Marathon requires a minimum pace of 16 minutes per mile. Finishers receive a custom finisher medal. Registration tiers include regular, late, and race day entries, with a virtual race fee noted separately. Participants registered by September 2 (except those who choose no-shirt) are guaranteed race swag in their size; afterwards swag is available while supplies last. Registration fees vary by distance and by registration period.
All registrations are final; there are no refunds, deferments, or transfers. The event is planned to run rain or shine, and organizers may cancel for extreme weather; in that case no refunds are provided.
