Ozark Trail 100 Mile Endurance Run
The Ozark Trail 100 Mile Endurance Run is the 18th running of a point-to-point ultramarathon held near Steelville, Missouri, with a course that follows nearly continuous single-track through the Mark Twain National Forest. The course distance is 101 miles and includes approximately 12,000 feet of elevation gain, technical trail sections, and multiple stream crossings through remote woodland.
The event features 13 fully stocked aid stations, drop bag service at designated aid locations, and crew access points at key locations along the route. Pacer support is permitted beginning at Brooks Creek (mile 40). Base camp and the finish area are located at Bass River Resort. A mandatory pre-race briefing is scheduled for October 30, 2026.
The 2026 running has been designated the Missouri RRCA State Ultra Championship. Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable; entries cannot be rolled to future years. Registration for the event closes on October 4, 2026.
The race emphasizes traditional trail running logistics such as aid station support, remote single-track navigation, and overnight race planning. Participants should be prepared for varied autumn trail conditions and extended time on remote terrain. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
