Course, aid stations, and logistics

The Berryman Trail is an approximately 26.4-mile single-track loop run clockwise. The loop is entirely forested, continuously hilly, and has about 2,500 ft of elevation gain and 2,500 ft of descent per loop. The trail has rocks, roots, and multiple stream crossings; runners will cross Brazil Creek near mile 16 (and again near mile 42 on the second loop). The west side shares about 12 miles with the Ozark Trail corridor.

Aid stations are placed roughly every 5 to 6 miles and provide sports drink, water, soda, and snacks. The event is cupless; participants must carry a bottle or hydration pack. Pacers are allowed only on the second loop at Berryman or Brazil Creek campgrounds, with limited exceptions requiring permission. A day use fee of $5 per vehicle applies at the campground. Primitive camping is available for a fee. Post-race food will be served; runners are asked to bring non-disposable plates and utensils. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
