5K-DEN is the 13th annual memorial 5K staged on September 12, 2026, at the Sullivan Fairgrounds in Sullivan, MO. The event offers in-person and virtual options and lists a published course map.
Proceeds from the event will benefit children and their families to help with medical and travel expenses. Beneficiaries include children affected by acute lymphoblastic leukemia and tuberous sclerosis complex.
Distances and options:
- 5K, timed run, includes a race shirt; fee $34.09.
- 1 Mile, untimed fun run/walk, includes a shirt; fee $23.39.
- Virtual, supports the event, shirt shipped; fee $23.39.
Packet pickup is scheduled on Friday, September 11 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at the Sullivan Fairgrounds Pavilion, with additional pickup available on race morning beginning at 7:00 AM.
Awards are planned for the top overall male and female finishers and the top two male and female finishers in each age group. There is also an award for the largest team. Age groups are: 14 & under; 15 to 19; 20 to 29; 30 to 39; 40 to 49; 50 to 59; 60 & over.
