About the race
The 5K-DEN is the 13th annual running event held at the Sullivan Fairgrounds on September 12, 2026 in Sullivan, Missouri. The event raises funds to benefit children and their families to help with medical and travel expenses related to serious childhood illness. It is held in memory of a child who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and who died in 2014.

- 5K Timed 5K run, includes a race shirt, entry $34.09.
- 1 Mile Untimed 1 mile fun run/walk, includes a shirt, entry $23.39.
- Virtual Virtual participation with shirt shipping included, entry $23.39.
Packet pickup is available Friday, 9/11 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at the Sullivan Fairgrounds Pavilion and on race morning beginning at 7:00 AM.
Awards are presented to the top male and female overall finishers, the top two male and female finishers in each age group, and the largest team. Age groups are: 14 & under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 & Over.
