5K-DEN at Sullivan Fairgrounds
The 5K-DEN is an annual community running event held at the Sullivan Fairgrounds in Sullivan, MO on September 12, 2026. This edition is the 13th annual event held in memory of a child who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and passed away in 2014. Net proceeds will benefit several children and their families to assist with medical and travel expenses; listed medical conditions include Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and Tuberous Sclerosis Complex.
Race options and fees listed by the organizer:
- 5K - timed 5K run, includes a race shirt.
- 1 Mile - untimed fun run/walk, includes a shirt.
- Virtual - virtual participation, fee includes shirt shipping.
Registration pricing applies from May 28 through September 12, 2026, and fees include mandatory charges where shown. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the event at the Sullivan Fairgrounds Pavilion and on event morning at the venue. Awards will be given to the top male and female overall finishers and to the top two male and female finishers in each age group; there is also an award for the largest team. Age groups are 14 & under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 & over. A course map is available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
