St. James Vineyard Turkey Trot
The St. James Vineyard Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving themed event held at St. James Winery in St. James, Missouri on November 8, 2026. The winery has produced regional wines for over 50 years and has received awards for its wines. The event supports efforts to benefit young adults fighting cancer.
There are two event options. The on-site fun run is a cross country-style 5K through the vineyards and is untimed. A virtual 5K option lets participants run any time and in any location; virtual entrants receive mailed race swag and instructions for posting their time. Registration opens August 20, 2026. The on-site 5K registration closes October 15, 2026 with a fee of $25. The virtual 5K registration closes October 31, 2026 with a fee of $35.

- Virtual 5K run anywhere, swag mailed, post race time per instructions.
Registration includes a ring spun cotton T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible portable wine glass, a finisher medal with a turkey and wine theme, a race bib for the untimed 5K, a pour of wine at the winery, and a first place wine basket for top male and female finishers.
