St. James Vineyard Turkey Trot
St. James Vineyard Turkey Trot is scheduled for November 8, 2026 at St. James Winery in St. James, Missouri. The event is Thanksgiving themed and offers both an in-person 5K and a Virtual 5K option.
The in-person 5K is described as a scenic cross country course through the vineyards and is an untimed fun run. The Virtual 5K can be completed any time and at any location; race swag will be mailed to virtual participants and instructions will be provided for posting a race time. Registration opens August 20, 2026 and closes October 31, 2026. Fees listed are $25.00 for the in-person 5K and $35.00 for the virtual 5K.
The event supports efforts to bring joy to young adults fighting cancer. St. James Winery has produced regional wines for more than 50 years and hosts the event on winery grounds.
Registration includes a ring spun cotton T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible portable wine glass, a finisher medal with a turkey-wine theme, a race bib for the untimed 5K, a pour of wine, and a St. James wine basket prize for first place male and female as listed in the event details.
