Outrun the Cops 5K is a unique chase-themed race starting at the Plant City Police Headquarters. Runners get a head start from local officers, with a chance to outrun the Mayor, all while supporting law enforcement. Every finisher gets a medal, followed by post-race donuts.

Outrun the Cops 5K

This event is a 5K race organized by the Plant City Police Department. The run starts and finishes at the Plant City Police Headquarters, located at 1 Police Center Dr in Plant City, Florida.

The event concept involves fun scenarios where runners get a head start before being chased by local police officers. There is also a chance for participants to outrun the Mayor. The event is a fundraiser, benefiting local law enforcement and sponsored by the Friends of the Plant City Police Department Foundation.

All finishers receive a medal. Post-race donuts are provided. Water is available at the finish line, and participants are advised to bring their own hydration for the course.
