Mayfaire 5k - Lakeland, FL
The Mayfaire 5k is the 47th edition of an evening running and walking event held in Lakeland, Florida on May 9, 2026. The event is organized by the Lakeland Runners Club, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that promotes running and fitness in the community. The race takes place around Lake Mirror and passes through the historic Lake Morton district in downtown Lakeland, held alongside the Ashley Gibson Barnett Museum of Art Mayfaire by-the-Lake art festival. The official race shirt features the festival’s spotlight artist.
The 5k course is USATF-certified and chip-timed. Walkers are welcome. Event offerings include the main 5k and a Stroller Rider option.

Registration windows and fees for the listed events are provided by the organizer. For the Mayfaire 5k, registration opens January 15, 2026 and closes April 9, 2026 with a registration fee of $35. The Stroller Rider registration opens January 15, 2026 and closes May 5, 2026 with no registration fee.
The organizer will not mail bibs, shirts, finisher medals, or awards. Participants who cannot attend may arrange for in-person packet pickup by a friend or family member during the scheduled packet pickup window, and awards may be retrieved during the awards ceremony.
