Location and logistics
The event is centered at Mill Pond Park, N88 W16460 Main St, Menomonee Falls, WI 53051. Mill Street Parking Lot will not be open for parking; attendees are asked to use side streets or other lots. Public parking is available north of the Mill Pond in Downtown and south of Lime Kiln Park. Main Street will be closed before and during the event from Appleton Avenue to Water Street.
Course, timing and aid
The course uses the paved public path that follows the Menomonee River and is described as fast and flat. Timing is chip based with a chip start; time begins and ends when a participant crosses the start and finish lines. There is one aid station on course and one at the finish, both offering water; aid stations may be self-serve. Participants should wear their bibs on the front.
Charity and policies
The event supports Operation FINALLY Home, a nonprofit that provides homes and home modifications to wounded veterans, first responders and their families. The organization was established in 2005 and has completed or planned 380 home projects in 32 states; seven families have received homes in Wisconsin. Refunds are not permitted for any reason; the event may be delayed or canceled for severe weather with no refunds. Shirts are cotton; registrants by noon May 9 are guaranteed a custom race shirt, with additional shirts available while supplies last.
