Conservation Chase
The Conservation Chase is a trail running event in Delafield, Wisconsin, presented to support local conservation work. It offers multiple distance options on quiet park trails that feature rolling terrain and preserved green space. The event emphasizes simplicity, sustainability, and respect for the land.
The event is professionally managed and timed by Silver Circle Sports Events, LLC. Proceeds benefit Tall Pines Conservancy to help protect and maintain the park’s natural areas. Course distances are approximate because they use natural trails. The course is marked with turn arrows, tall course signs, and orange cones rather than traditional trail tape.
Aid stations are located along the course and provide water and sports drink; select stations on longer courses also offer energy gel. The event is part of a cupless series; participants should bring a reusable cup, bottle, or hydration system. Packet pickup uses a QR code for scanning. Race shirts are gender-specific, dry-wick, and guaranteed for registrations completed by the stated shirt deadline; female shirts may run small.
Distances available include:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 10K Ruck
