Onslow Community Outreach-Moore Buick GMC Turkey Trot 2026
The Onslow Community Outreach-Moore Buick GMC Turkey Trot takes place on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2026, at 100 Recreation Lane, Jacksonville, NC 28546. The event offers in-person and virtual participation options and supports the Onslow Christmas Cheer program.
The event program includes:
- OCO Turkey Trot 5Kish
- OCO Giblet 1 Miler
- Extra Servings Challenge combining the 5Kish and Giblet 1 Miler
The Extra Servings Challenge requires participation in both distances and awards three medals: a Giblet 1 Miler medal, a 5K medal, and a Challenge medal. Every registered finisher of the 5K and the 1 Miler receives a commemorative finisher medal. Age group winners in the 5K receive a $20 Fleet Feet gift certificate and overall male and female 5K winners receive a $100 Fleet Feet gift certificate.
Packet pickup is available the day before at Onslow Community Outreach, 1210 Hargett St., Jacksonville, and on race day at Jacksonville Commons, 100 Recreation Circle. Strollers are permitted and pets are allowed on course when leashed; participants with pets or strollers will start toward the back of the field. Race shirts are available for additional purchase.
All proceeds benefit the Onslow Community Outreach Christmas Cheer program. A race day toy drive aims to collect 200 new, unwrapped toys for local families. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
