Merry Fitness 5K
The Merry Fitness 5K takes place on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at ELJ Farms, 133 Batting Cage Trail, Jacksonville, NC 28540. The event is a 5K road/run event. The listed entry fee is $45; the price increases after December 12, 2025 at 11:59pm EST. Proceeds support scholarship opportunities for Onslow County students to participate in the Marathon Kids program. Marathon Kids participants do not need to register individually; their registration is handled through their team.
Logistics and policies
Packet pick-up is scheduled for Friday, December 12, 5:00–7:00 PM at Eggs Up Grill, 2457 Gum Branch Road, and on race day only from 7:00–7:30 AM at ELJ Farms. Race shirts are available as an add-on for $15 and must be purchased by November 26. Additional race information is available from New River YMCA.
The event is planned to proceed rain or shine. Organizers may postpone the event to wait out inclement weather and may cancel if conditions prevent safe completion. Inclement weather criteria include severe winds over 35 miles per hour and lightning detected within 10 miles. If the event is canceled due to an Act of God or other circumstances beyond the race director's control, there will be no refunds, credits, or transfers.
