Reindeer Stampede 5k/Fun Run
The Reindeer Stampede 5k/Fun Run takes place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, in downtown Richlands, North Carolina. The event offers the following distances:
- 5k
- one mile Fun Run
- Reindeer Stampede Virtual Run
Proceeds support Operation Christmas Stocking and the Blessing Shed to provide pantry staples and personal care items to local neighbors facing food and hygiene insecurity. Team entries are accepted and the largest teams will receive additional prizes.
Logistics and awards
Entry fees are listed as $25 for the 5k and the one mile Fun Run, and $35 for the virtual run. T-shirts are optional for a $15 fee if ordered by November 15, 2025. Packet pick up is available the day before at The Blessing Shed (111 Kinston Highway, Richlands) and on race day at the race site. Timing will be managed with Chronotrack timing systems; a disposable timing tag will be attached to the race bib and must be worn on the front of the body or costume. The 5k awards include finisher medals for all finishers, overall and masters 1st place awards, and 1st place awards in each age group.
