White Elephant 5k FUN RUN
The White Elephant 5k FUN RUN takes place on December 5, 2026 at 903 Henderson Drive, Jacksonville, NC 28540. The event is part of the 2026 JOSC Race Series and includes a 5k fun run listed as 3.1 Miles, followed by the JOSC Race Series awards ceremony.
The run uses leftover bibs and medals that are distributed in mystery bags. Medals may be traded among participants. The event is not timed; bibs may have chips but no timing company will capture finish times. Participants who take part in the fun run receive 10 JOSC Race Series points. The awards ceremony is held after the fun run and is a separate element from the run itself.
Packet pick up is available only on race morning from 7:00 am to 8:15 am, and each participant must pick up and check in personally so that the correct JOSC Race Series points can be assigned. Registration opens on December 30, 2025 and closes on December 5, 2026. The registration fee is $15.00 and no discounts are provided.
