White Elephant 5k FUN RUN presented by Moore Buick GMC
The event takes place on December 5, 2026 in Jacksonville, North Carolina at 903 Henderson Drive as part of the 2026 JOSC Race Series celebration. The program includes an affordable 5k (3.1 miles) fun run and the 2026 JOSC Race Series awards ceremony held after the run.
The fun run uses leftover bibs and medals. Medals are distributed in mystery bags so the specific medal received is a surprise. Runners who already have a medal may trade with other participants. The run is not operated as a timed race; bibs may contain chips but no official timing company will record finish times. Participation in this run awards 10 JOSC Race Series points. The awards ceremony is separate from the run.
Packet pick up is available only on race morning and each participant must pick up and check in personally so JOSC Race Series points can be assigned correctly. The registration fee is $15.
