Old Town Run Club Jingle Bell 5K & Kids 1 Miler
Old Town Run Club presents a charity 5K and a kids 1 mile run/walk in Alexandria, VA, held at Cameron Run Trail on December 6, 2026. The event is organized to raise funds for Tunnel to Towers; all profits will go to that foundation, which supports military and first responder families and honors a firefighter who died on September 11, 2001.
Distances:
- 3.1 miles 5K race
- 1 mile kids run
The kids 1 mile is free for children 10 years of age or younger who are registered with a participating adult. The 5K has a registration fee of $30. Registered 5K participants who signed up before November 23 will receive a long sleeve shirt. Santa hats and bells will be provided to runners and walkers. One-mile bibs will not have timing chips.
Package pick-up is scheduled at Atlas Brew Works on Saturday, December 5, 2026 from 1-5 PM. On-site registration and packet pick up will also be available on the day of the event. Strollers and dogs on leashes are allowed on the course. A post-race celebration will take place at Atlas Brew Works, where food and brewery offerings will be available and prizes will be awarded for the top holiday costumes or Christmas sweaters. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
