2026 Turkey Tumble for Autism 5k, 10k, and Half
The event offers three distances along the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal path near Georgetown, with separate start and finish locations: the half marathon begins and ends in Georgetown near the Potomac Boat Club, while the 5K and 10K begin and end at Fletcher's Boathouse. All courses are out and back on a light gravel trail with minimal elevation change.

The event awards chip timed results, a finisher medal, and a technical event shirt. Points from this race count toward the 5K, 10K, Endurance, Back of the Pack, and Fall series. A virtual race option is available. Walkers and strollers are welcome.
Support and event services include multiple water stations with some Gatorade, port a johns or indoor restrooms near venues, event photos posted after the race, and live results posted on Athlinks with a race day QR code. Packet pickup is offered at Road Runner Sports the day before and also at the event. There is no on site race registration. The event partners with the Organization for Autism Research.
