Annual OCC Viking 5K And Fun Run
The Annual OCC Viking 5K And Fun Run is held on the campus of Ocean County College in Toms River, New Jersey. This event is presented by the Ocean County College Foundation and Ocean County College Athletics. All proceeds from the event benefit the Ocean County College Foundation.
The race utilizes a USATF-certified course. Participants are required to agree to the terms of the USATF as a condition of their registration. The start and finish lines for the races are located at the Ocean County College archway, situated in the center of the campus mall.
Participants can choose from the following event distances:
- 3.1 Miles (5K Run)
- 1 Mile (Fun Run)
- 1 Mile (Health Walk)
The primary parking area for attendees on the day of the event is Lot P2, located near the Grunin Center. Registration for the various events typically closes on the day of the race, though an early registration deadline is noted for August.
