Lake Como Day 5k
Lake Como Day 5k is a community running event presented by the Borough of Lake Como and the Jersey Shore Running Club on September 26, 2026, in Lake Como, New Jersey. The event is hosted at Joe's Surf Shack at 415 18th Ave and uses local streets and a route around Lake Como.
Registration fees vary by date: $30 through July 31, $35 from August 1 through September 19, and $40 for race week from September 20 through September 26. Jersey Shore Running Club members receive a 10% discount through July 31. Online registration windows are listed by the organizer.
Proceeds and optional donations support Lake Como Youth Recreation Programs and youth facilities. The Lake Como Youth Recreation Program provides opportunities for youngsters to spend time with friends through free play and organized games in a structured, supervised environment.
Awards are presented at Joe's Surf Shack on race day with no mailings. Award categories include overall top three male and female, top male and female Lake Como full time resident, and age group awards for top three male and female in the following groups: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 plus.
