Event Overview
The Lake Como Day 5k is scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2026. The event is hosted at Joe's Surf Shack, located at 415 18th Ave in Lake Como, New Jersey. It is presented by the Borough of Lake Como and the Jersey Shore Running Club. The run coincides with the community's 102nd anniversary as its own municipality.
Course
The 5k route travels along local streets and goes around Lake Como.
Registration
Online registration has different price tiers. Early bird registration is $30 through July 31, with a 10% discount for Jersey Shore Running Club members through that date. The price is $35 from August 1 through September 18. Race day registration is $40 and is available in person only.
Awards
An award ceremony takes place at Joe's Surf Shack after the race. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, the top male and female full-time Lake Como residents, and the top three males and females in standard age groups.
Post-Race
A post-race celebration is held at Joe's Surf Shack following the event.
Beneficiary
Proceeds from the event benefit Lake Como Youth Recreation Programs and Youth Facilities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
