Neptune Township and the Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners present the 13th Annual Pound the Pavement for Purple, a community running and walking event in Neptune, New Jersey on September 19, 2026.

Registration opens May 27, 2026. Online registration ends September 15, 2026. On-site packet pickup is scheduled for September 16 between 5:00 and 7:00 PM at Sunsets Riverfront Restaurant & Bar, 302 S Concourse, Neptune, NJ. Pre-registration entry fee is $30; post-registration and race day entry fee is $40. Race day registration is handled at The Headliner.
Awards are presented to the top 3 male and female overall and the top 3 male and female in each age group, covering age divisions from 18 and under through 90 and over. The top 3 fundraisers are also recognized. No duplicate awards are permitted. The 2 Mile Family Walk is not a timed event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
