Nuthatch Nonsense is a trail race held at Sand Run Metro Park in Akron, Ohio. The start and finish are at the North Hawkins Area, 800 N Hawkins Ave, Akron 44313. The event distance is 15K.
The course follows primitive single-track trails, including the Dogwood and Nuthatch (Mingo) Loops, and includes an out and back section on the park jogging trail. The route features more than 1000 feet of climb along park trails.
Race day packet pickup is available at the start/finish area. Registration fees are listed as $55 and $65 after April 30. Registration closes June 5 at 11:59 PM ET. No race day entries are permitted in accordance with Summit Metro Parks regulations. The listed registration price includes a race t-shirt and a medal; the deadline for a guaranteed shirt is May 22.
