ADM Recovery Challenge 5K & 1-Mile Family Fun Walk
The ADM Recovery Challenge 5K & 1-Mile Family Fun Walk is a community event held at IBH Addiction Recovery in Akron, Ohio. This gathering is designed to promote wellness and community connections through physical activity and shared experiences. The event features community resource tables and various activities for participants of all ages.
Participants can choose between two main events:
- 5K Obstacle Course: A route featuring winding trails, hills, and obstacles for athletes of all ages and abilities.
- 1-Mile Family Fun Walk: An untimed walk where each paid participant receives a custom shirt.
The 5K Obstacle Course provides an opportunity for competition across several age categories. All individuals who complete the 5K course receive a commemorative medal. Awards are presented to the top three finishers in specific age groups, ranging from 10 and under to 56 and older.
The event takes place on June 6, 2026. This race is a member of the Ohio Challenge Series. Registration for the 5K is open to those aged five and older, with reduced pricing available for children.
