Cuyahoga Valley Cross Country 5K
The Cuyahoga Valley Cross Country 5K takes place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Old Trail School in Akron, Ohio. The event includes two distances and uses natural and school grounds at the Old Trail School location near Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
- 5K Cross Country Run: wooded trails through Cuyahoga Valley National Park, rolling hills, 112 feet elevation gain
- 1 Mile Kids Dash: flat all grass loop around athletic fields and solar array
The 5K follows natural, wooded trails that weave in and out of Cuyahoga Valley National Park and features rolling hills with a total elevation gain of 112 feet. The top three finishers in the men’s and women’s divisions will receive medals. Due to the terrain and limited accessibility, jogging strollers are not recommended on the 5K course.
The 1 mile Kids Dash runs on a flat, all grass loop around Old Trail School’s athletic fields and solar array. Parents and other adults may run alongside young participants. Jogging strollers are welcome for the Kids Dash, and every child ages four and up receives a finisher medal. Registration fees listed are $35 for the 5K and $5 for the Kids Dash.
