About the race
Cuyahoga Valley Cross Country events take place on June 5, 2027, at 2315 Ira Rd, Akron, Ohio. The schedule includes a forested cross country 5K and a separate 1 mile Kids Dash on grass fields.
The 5K Cross Country Run follows natural, wooded trails that weave in and out of Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The course features rolling hills with a total elevation gain of 112 feet. Medals are awarded to the top three finishers in the men’s and women’s divisions and in the boys and girls division under 16. Because of the terrain and limited accessibility, jogging strollers are not recommended.
The 1 Mile Kids Dash is a flat, all-grass loop around Old Trail School’s athletic fields and solar array. Parents and other adults may join children on the course. Jogging strollers are welcome for this event, and every child age 4 and up receives a finisher medal. Registration fees are listed for each event.
