Cuyahoga Valley Cross Country 5K and Kids Dash
The event takes place in Akron, Ohio at 2315 Ira Rd on June 6, 2026. It features a cross country 5K through natural, wooded trails that weave in and out of Cuyahoga Valley National Park and a separate youth run on nearby school fields.

- 1 Mile Kids Dash on an all grass loop around Old Trail School athletic fields.
The 5K course includes rolling hills with a total elevation gain of 112 feet. The top three finishers in the men's and women's divisions and in the boys and girls divisions under 16 receive medals. Jogging strollers are not recommended on the 5K due to terrain and limited accessibility. Registration fee for the 5K is $35.00.
The 1 Mile Kids Dash runs on a flat, all grass loop around Old Trail School's athletic fields and solar array. Parents and other adults may join the run alongside children. Jogging strollers are welcome for the Kids Dash. Every child ages 4 and up receives a finisher medal. Registration for the Kids Dash is $5.00 or $12.00 with a race day T shirt.
