Eagle Up Ultra - Canal Fulton, Ohio
Eagle Up Ultra is a 24-hour running event held at St. Helena Park in Canal Fulton, Ohio on June 6, 2026. The event began ten years ago and has attracted participants from over 40 states and three countries. The race partners with Team RWB and donates a portion of each registration to that charity.
Distances include:
- 24-hour individual
- 25K
- Relay teams aiming for 100 miles in 24 hours
The course is a five-mile loop that starts and finishes at St. Helena Park, runs south on the Ohio Erie Canal Towpath to Butterbridge Road, and returns on the Olde Muskingum Trail. Most surfaces are packed crushed limestone; the camping area section is short cut grass. Road shoes are appropriate for the course.
There is one main aid station at the park pavilion offering a variety of food, snacks, hot food later in the day, and drinks. Water is available on course at approximately mile 1, mile 2.5, and mile 4. The event is cupless; runners must carry their own reusable cup for water and other drinks. Cups will be provided for coffee and warm soup or broth.
Crew may set up anywhere within the park; crew may not take food from the aid station. Pacers may join after a runner completes two loops, one pacer at a time, and may use aid station provisions while pacing. Relay teams swap timing bands at a designated exchange near the start/finish line or elsewhere in the park. Finishing medals and buckles are presented immediately upon completing a chosen distance; there are no age group awards. Registration deferrals with full credit to the following year are allowed up to three weeks before the event; no refunds are given. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
