Nuclear Fit
Nuclear Fit is an outdoor fitness race that combines six 1 km trail runs with a series of functional workout stations. The full course covers 6 km and is offered in Individual, Doubles and Relay formats, with Pro options noted for some workouts.
Stations include tyre flips, farmer urn carries, plough pulls, milk churn carries, a duck and throw sequence, and a high-rep squat and lift. Distances and loads vary by category; for example, tyre flips and urn carries are listed at 125 m for most categories, milk churn carries at 200 m, and the squat and lift requires between 75 and 150 reps depending on the category. Weights also vary by category and gender.
Every competitor receives chip timing with breakdowns for each run and workout station. Event awards include trophies for 1st to 3rd male and female finishers and a finishers medal. Spectator access and on-site parking are free.
The event features a central arena with music, stalls, sports massage and event photography. Training sessions are available during the year for those who want practice before race day. The event is located in Brentwood, Essex, about 15 minutes from the A12, M25 and M11 and about 15 minutes by taxi from Brentwood station or Epping Underground station.
