Event overview

Nuclear Fit is a 6 km outdoor endurance event held in Brentwood, Essex. The format alternates six 1 km trail runs with functional fitness workout stations. Entry options include Individual, Doubles and Relay formats. Individuals and Doubles are listed as age 16+ and have an approximate duration of 2 hours. Format and workout stations

Each run is followed by a specific fitness station. Examples and stated specifications include: tyre flip - 100 m, tyre height women 3 ft and men 4 ft; farmer urn hug - 150 m, weight women 24 kg and men 30 kg; plough pull - 125 m, weight women 37 kg and men 70 kg; milk churn carry - 200 m, weight women 16 kg and men 24 kg; duck and throw - 100 m with 10 throws, weight women 22 kg and men 32 kg; squat and lift - reps 75 for women and 100 for men.

Practical information

The event location is given as Brentwood, Essex, approximately 15 minutes from the A12, M25 and M11 and about 15 minutes by taxi from Brentwood or Epping stations.
