Event overview

Format and on-course challenges
Each run is followed by a functional fitness station with measured distances, weights or reps. Timing chips provide breakdowns for each run and station. Key on-course elements include:
- Wheel tyre flip - 100 m (tyre height Women 3 ft, Men 4 ft)
- Farmer urn hug - 150 m (Women 24 kg, Men 30 kg)
- Plough pull - 125 m (Women 37 kg, Men 70 kg)
- Milk churn carry - 200 m (Women 16 kg, Men 24 kg)
- Duck and throw - 100 m (Women 22 kg, Men 32 kg; 10 throws)
- Squat and lift - 100 reps Men, 75 reps Women
Doubles teams run together and complete sequential stations where partners can share the workload.
Logistics and included services
Entries include chip timing, a finisher medal, and trophies for 1st–3rd male and female finishers. The event site features a central arena with music, sports massage stations and a variety of stalls. Spectator access and on-site parking are free. The venue is described as 15 minutes from the A12, M25 and M11, and about 15 minutes from Brentwood and Epping stations by train and taxi.
