Midweek Aquathlon 2026 at The Bridge, Dartford
The Midweek Aquathlon series at The Bridge in Dartford runs across five evenings in 2026 on the following dates: 12 May, 9 June, 14 July, 11 August and 8 September. Each event takes place at the lakes on The Bridge and entry on the night is permitted.
Entrant numbers are limited to 30 per race for water safety. Participants must have prior open water swimming experience and must wear a swimming wetsuit. A short race briefing on water safety is given before swimmers enter the water, and all participants sign a race waiver to confirm their experience.
Facilities and logistics are basic. Registration takes place by the container and there are no toilets on site. A changing tent is provided to the rear of the van. Club members are asked to use the Crosswater car park; non club members may park by the container. The site road is Meldon Way, DA15SX, just off Halcrow Avenue near the Premier Inn.
The run course has been changed slightly to accommodate some under 16 entrants and a new course map is available. Swimming in the lakes outside authorised events or training sessions is forbidden; anyone found doing so may be asked to leave and barred from future events at The Bridge.
