Nuclear Fit Relay
Nuclear Fit Relay is an outdoor team relay race for groups of three. The format alternates running and functional fitness stations: each team member completes two runs and two station tasks, and teams swap chip timing after two stations. Teams may be all women, all men, or mixed.
The event covers a route listed as 6k and includes a range of functional fitness stations such as tyre flips, plough pulls, milk churn carries, farmer urn hugs, duck-and-throw drills, and high-repetition squat-and-lift sets. Stations have defined distances, weights, or repetition standards and are adjudicated for correct completion.
Every competitor receives chip timing with breakdowns for each run and workout station, giving performance splits for individual runs and stations. Entry options include Individual, Doubles, and Relay formats, and there are team and league opportunities for repeat competitors. Training sessions are available in advance for those who want practice on the event format and stations.
Included with entry are chip timing, a finisher medal, free spectator access, and free on-site parking. The event uses a central arena with music, marshals, photos, sports massage stations, and a range of stalls, creating a festival-style setting.
The venue is in Brentwood, Essex. It is described as about 15 minutes from the A12, the M25, the M11, and approximately 15 minutes by taxi from Brentwood rail station or Epping Underground station. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
