Event Overview
The Spitfire Scramble is a 24-hour event that can be run solo or as a relay in teams of two to eight runners. The event involves running through the night on a multi-terrain course.
Course Details
The run consists of a continuous relay over a 24-hour period. Each lap is 5.75 miles. Teams have one runner on the course at a time, with each runner completing a full lap before handing over to a teammate.
Venue & Facilities
The event takes place at Albyns Farm in the London Borough of Havering. Parts of the course are on land under the custodianship of the borough and Forestry England. An Event Village site provides facilities. Participants and supporters can arrive from Friday afternoon. Free camping is available. On-site amenities include catering, toilets, hot showers, a sports massage service, and first aid.
Entry Information
The entry fee covers the run, a race bib, a timing system, parking, camping, medical care, site security, an event T-shirt, and a medal. Participants must be 18 or over on the event date. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
