Event overview
Spitfire Scramble is a 24-hour multi-terrain race on 11 July 2026 at Albyns Farm entrance on South End Road, RM13 7YH. It is organised as either a solo event or a relay for teams of two to eight runners. The course is run in laps of 5.75 miles. Each team may have a maximum of one runner on the course at any time, and runners must complete a full circuit before handing over. Parts of the course lie on land under the custodianship of the London Borough of Havering and areas managed by Forestry England.
Logistics and entry
Camping at the event is free, and runners and supporters can begin arriving from Friday afternoon to set up camp. On-site services include catering, toilets, hot showers, sports massage and first aid. The entry fee structure allocates the first £10 per person to cover the run and course; the remainder of the fee covers race bibs and timing, parking, camping, medical care, site security, and an event T-shirt and medal provided at the Event Village. Available entry options list a team price of £89 and a solo price of £110. The event is open to entrants aged 18 and over on the event date.
