The Watermelon 5K - Blydenburgh 2026
The Watermelon 5K is scheduled for July 26, 2026 at Blydenburgh County Park in Hauppauge, NY. The event offers an in-person 5K run/walk and a virtual 5K option. A free kiddie fun run is listed as part of the event program.
The course mixes pavement, dirt roads, and hard-packed trails that are accessible to vehicles. Parking is available within Blydenburgh County Park, with additional parking options across the street at a nearby building and at the boat launch. Event proceeds and donations support the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization that funds local youth and special needs events and other athletic programs.
