The event is a Thanksgiving Day run/walk held at Nissequogue River State Park in Kings Park, NY on November 26, 2026. It offers both in-person and virtual participation and includes a separate untimed kids event.

Registration options list base fees for the events and note processing fees apply. The first 1,550 registered participants are guaranteed a shirt. Virtual participants receive a personalized bib by mail beginning the Monday before the event; mailing may take 3–5 days. Registering three weeks in advance yields a personalized bib.
Amenities state that walkers, wheelchairs, and strollers are welcome (requested to start at the back), entertainment is provided, and pets are permitted on leash and should start at the back. Pre-registered runners receive a free t-shirt.
Awards include cash prizes for top overall finishers, a masters award, a cash prize for best Thanksgiving costume, and five-year age-group awards from 14 and under through 80 plus.
