The Great Hawaiian Luau 5K takes place on May 16, 2026 in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Queens. The event includes a 5K run/walk and a free Kiddie Dash. The 5K course is USATF certified and passes the Unisphere twice and the Fountain of the Planets, with start and finish near the Queens Theater. The event is scheduled to run rain or shine. Donations support the Never Stop Running Foundation; 100% of donations benefit the foundation.

Registration, logistics and amenities
In-person and virtual registration options are available. Listed registration fees vary by option and date; a bib-mailing add-on is offered for a fee and requires registration at least 10 days in advance. Virtual participants may log a time during the event window and may upload up to five photos. Amenities include an informal bag check area, bathrooms within a few minutes walk of the start and finish, hydration at the finish, and post-race refreshments provided by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. Public parking is available at the Queens Museum and Queens Theater. Age-group recognition is provided for top finishers overall and in multiple age brackets.
