NSRF The Great Hawaiian Luau 5K
The Great Hawaiian Luau 5K is an athletic event held at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens. Participants can choose to run or walk the course, which is USATF certified. The route traverses the scenic park, passing the Unisphere twice and circling the Fountain of the Planets. The start and finish lines are located near the Queens Theater.

Amenities for participants include an informal bag check area and restrooms located within a short walk of the start and finish lines. Hydration is provided at the finish line, along with refreshments like sparkling water and bakery products. Those who register at least three weeks in advance can have their name printed on their bib. There is also an option for bib mailing for those who sign up 10 days before the event.
The virtual 5K allows participants to complete the distance at a location of their choice within a specified one-week window. Virtual runners can log their times and upload photos to an online platform. All proceeds from donations benefit the Never Stop Running Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports athletic events, youth programs, and elite athletes.
