NSRF The Great Hawaiian Luau 5K - Flushing Meadows Corona Park
The Great Hawaiian Luau 5K is set for May 16, 2026, at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens, NY. The event uses a USATF certified 5K course that passes the Unisphere twice and circles the Fountain of the Planets, with start and finish located near the Queens Theater. Public parking is available at the Queens Museum and Queens Theater; additional park parking areas are noted on the event site map.

Registration options include in person and virtual entries; a bib mailing add-on is available for a fee. Virtual participants have a one week window from the event start date to log a time and may upload up to five photos. Bib mailing is offered for registrants who sign up at least ten days in advance; instructions note bib placement on the mid torso for accurate read rates.
On course and participant amenities include informal bag check, portable toilets near the finish and an NYC Parks bathroom near mile 2, hydration at the finish, and post event refreshments provided by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. Age group recognition is provided for top finishers overall and across standard age divisions. Donations benefit the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) supporting youth and special needs running programs and athlete development.
