NSRF Luck O'The Irish St. Patrick's 5K
The Luck O'The Irish St. Patrick's 5K is a community run and walk held at Heckscher State Park in Great River, New York. The event occurs on a 5 km course that is USATF certified. Participants travel through the park grounds, starting and finishing near Field 1.
The event features several participation options:

- 5 km Virtual Run/Walk
- FREE Kiddie Fun Run
The in-person 5 km takes place on March 22, 2026, and proceeds as scheduled rain or shine. For those choosing the virtual option, the window to complete the distance and upload results spans from March 22 to March 29. Participants who register at least three weeks in advance receive their name printed on their bib.
Amenities provided at the venue include hydration at the finish line, high-quality refreshments, and restrooms located within a short walk of the start and finish areas. An informal bag check area is available in the staging section for personal belongings. Participants aged 21 and over may receive a complimentary beer in the post-race area upon presenting a valid ID.
