TWF Townwide Fund of Huntington Thanks4Giving 4 Mile : 2026
The event is a charity running program held on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2026, in Huntington, New York. It features a main four-mile run/walk and a separate family Fun Run for school-age children and families. The course is USATF certified.
The event typically draws more than 2,000 runners. Costumed participants are common and a post-race offering from Six Harbors is available at the finish area. T-shirts are distributed the morning of the event on a first-come, first-served basis.
Registration includes two distance options:
- 4 Mile
- Fun Run (untimed)
Bibs will be mailed to participants who registered by November 16. Additional bib pickup options are available in the days before the event and on race morning; some pickup times are specified by the organizer. Participants who register three weeks in advance may receive a personalized bib.
Awards are presented to the top three male and female overall finishers and the top male and female in multiple age groups (1-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+). For safety and insurance reasons, baby strollers, jogging carts, inline skates, and dogs are not permitted on the racecourse.
