NSRF Great Pumpkin Dash Trail 5K - Blydenburgh County Park, Smithtown, NY
The Great Pumpkin Dash Trail 5K is a trail run and walk held on October 11, 2026 at Blydenburgh County Park in Smithtown, NY. The course is described as scenic and shaded with a mix of dirt roads and hard-packed trails and a few sandy spots. Strollers and wagons are not permitted on the course.

Participants receive a Great Pumpkin Dash trail tee. Hydration is provided at the finish and additional refreshments are supplied by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. Park bathrooms are available within a few minutes walk of the start and finish. An informal bag check area is provided in the staging area; race staff do not assume responsibility for personal items.
Parking guidance is given for the event: primary parking is at Picnic Areas 1-5 via the Veteran's Highway entrance, with secondary parking at the boat launch and additional spots near the dog park. Virtual participants may log times and upload up to five photos during the stated virtual window; virtual entries include a shirt and name on the bib. A portion of event proceeds benefits the Never Stop Running Foundation. Additional event recognition includes top overall and age group online awards.
