28th Annual Novemberfest Race for the Nashua Children's Home
The event is a festive 4-mile trail race through the easy, wide trails of Mine Falls Park. The race includes a post-race gathering with a party, raffle, and awards at Martha's Exchange Restaurant & Brewery at 185 Main Street in Nashua, NH.
Race day registration and race number pick-up take place at Martha's Exchange. The start and finish area is near the Pine Street Extension entrance to Mine Falls Park, about 200 yards west of the Millyard smokestack.
All entrants receive one raffle ticket with entry; additional raffle tickets are available for purchase at $5 each. Raffle winners must be present to claim prizes. The event also offers Novemberfest t-shirts for $20, with profits from t-shirt sales directed to the Nashua Children's Home.
Martha's Exchange will donate the cash payment from the first draft beer purchase to the Nashua Children's Home and will provide a ticket for a free beer; two draft beers can be obtained for a small cash donation to the Nashua Children's Home.
The event is hosted by the Gate City Striders. All proceeds benefit the Nashua Children's Home, which provides residential and educational programs, transitional living support, special education services, and supportive housing for youth who have aged out of care.
