Norfolk Harbor Half Marathon Weekend
The event is the 13th annual Chartway Norfolk Harbor Race Weekend presented by Sentara, held in Norfolk, Virginia on November 21–22, 2026. The weekend includes multiple race distances and related activities across downtown Norfolk and nearby neighborhoods.

The courses pass through Downtown Norfolk, the NEON District, historic neighborhoods and Old Dominion University campus, and finish waterside along the Elizabeth River. The half marathon route contains more than 20 mermaid statues placed along the course. The course is described as flat and fast.
Race weekend features a post race celebration at Town Point Park located steps from the finish, with live music and on-site beer. A run club regatta is part of the weekend program as a club-level competition. Participant items include finisher swag, participant shirts and coastal-colored medals.
Packet pickup is held at the Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel in the Riverwalk Ballroom at 777 Waterside Dr, Norfolk, VA. The weekend also connects with regional series and challenge programs tied to the Coastal Virginia Half Marathon Series and related events.
