Norfolk Harbor Half Marathon - Race Weekend
The Norfolk Harbor Race Weekend features multiple road races held in Norfolk, Virginia, with packet pickup and an expo at the Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel - Riverwalk Ballroom. Events take place around Waterside Drive and conclude with activities near the Elizabeth River.
Race routes pass through Downtown Norfolk, historic neighborhoods, the NEON District and the Old Dominion University campus. The half marathon course follows portions of the Elizabeth River Trail and finishes beside the Elizabeth River. Organizers describe the half marathon course as flat and fast and note more than 20 mermaid sculptures along that route.
A post-race celebration called Groovin’ Gourmets is held at Town Point Park after the road races. The weekend schedule also includes a Kids Mile and separate post-race celebration windows on both Saturday and Sunday.
