Norfolk Harbor Half Marathon

Norfolk Harbor Race Weekend, November 20 to 22, 2026

The event weekend in Norfolk, Virginia includes multiple distance races that start on Waterside Drive and finish beside the Elizabeth River. The half marathon route passes through Downtown Norfolk, historic neighborhoods, the Old Dominion University campus and along the Elizabeth River Trail. The 10K and 5K also travel through Downtown Norfolk with waterfront finishes beside the Elizabeth River. A Kids Mile is held on Waterside Drive.

Packet pickup and the race expo are hosted at the Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel in the Riverwalk Ballroom, 777 Waterside Dr, Norfolk, VA 23510. Post-race celebrations called Groovin’ Gourmets take place at Town Point Park following race finishes.

The half marathon course features more than 20 mermaid installations along the route. The schedule spans three days and includes expo hours, packet pickup sessions, and weekend race starts with post-race activities in Town Point Park.
