The K5K - A Run for Kendra is scheduled for Saturday, November 22, 2025 in Virginia Beach, VA. The event includes an in-person k5k Run/Walk at Neptune's Park and a k5k Virtual option for participants who choose to take part from another location. This is the 13th annual edition and it raises funds for a scholarship fund for college students who have lost a parent to cancer. To date the event has awarded over $155,000 in scholarships. An after party is planned at The Shack, located at 712 Atlantic Ave, Virginia Beach, VA 23451.
Registration and logistics
Entry fees vary by age group and change on November 1:
- 12 and under: $20 (increases to $25 on 11/1)
- Ages 13 to 24: $30 (increases to $35 on 11/1)
- Ages 25 and older: $35 (increases to $40 on 11/1)
Packet pick-up is scheduled for Friday, November 21 at Running Etc., 1940 Laskin Rd UNIT 302, Virginia Beach, VA 23454. Virtual participants can post results at any time during the month of November.
