K5K - A Run for Kendra
The K5K - A Run for Kendra is the 14th annual run/walk held on November 21, 2026 in Virginia Beach with a virtual option. The event takes place on the Virginia Beach Boardwalk and also allows remote participation during November.

- 5K in person on the Virginia Beach Boardwalk.
- 5K virtual with results accepted anytime during November.
The event raises money for a scholarship fund that supports college students who have lost a parent to cancer and who display the qualities associated with Kendra. To date, the event has awarded $170,000 in scholarships.
Packet pick-up is scheduled for Friday, November 20, from 3:00 to 6:00 pm ET at Running Etc., 1940 Laskin Rd UNIT 302, Virginia Beach, VA 23454.
An after party is planned at The Shack, 712 Atlantic Ave, Virginia Beach, VA 23451. The event is open to all participants; pet participation is permitted and organizers have suggested dressing pets in pink. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
