BRADASS 10k - Virginia Beach memorial run
BRADASS 10k is a running event in Virginia Beach held at First Landing State Park with in-person and virtual options. The in-person program includes a 10 kilometer race and a 1 mile run. Results for the in-person races use chip timing for age group awards; overall awards for the 10 kilometer event are based on gun time.
All participants receive a finisher medal and park entry is included for in-person entries. T-shirts are guaranteed in the registered size for registrations completed before 10/29/2025; registrations after that date receive shirts on a first come, first serve basis at packet pick up. Packet pick up takes place on November 21 at Bradlee's Wrestling Room, 2000 Virginia Beach Blvd, Virginia Beach, VA 23454.
The 10 kilometer awards include top three overall male and female plus age group awards for standard adult age ranges; age group awards are based on chip time. The 1 mile awards include top overall male and female and placements for participants under 12. Proceeds support a memorial fund established in the honoree's name. Volunteer opportunities are available and several sponsorship levels are offered with listed benefits and expected race attendance near 300 participants.
